President & Founder
Richard Whitt is the President and Founder of the GliaNet Alliance. He brings over two decades of experience in technology policy and platform governance to the organization.
Prior to founding GliaNet, Whitt served eleven years at Google, where he led policy initiatives across multiple product areas. He subsequently served as Senior Vice President at Twilio and held a Senior Fellowship at Mozilla.
Whitt is the author of four foundational academic publications that established the intellectual framework for GliaNet's governance architecture. His work spans fiduciary law, internet governance, AI ethics, and institutional design.
He holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
